Aamir Khan has devised a teaser to promote Peepli Live. Nothing new, except that the teaser pokes fun at Aamir and the ways he usually promotes his films.
The teaser has a journalist explaining that the film is the story of Natha, a farmer, who lives in a village called Peepli. The teaser then cuts to the village, where stores are selling packaged dry fruits and chips. The packs have Aamir's still from Ghajini on them. The journalist then goes on to lambast Aamir saying that the actor thinks his film will do well because it is set in a village, like Lagaan was.
Surprisingly, the promo does not mention the name of the film, Peepli Live. It will start being aired in theatres from Friday.
