Looking past the debacle of her debut film, Sarah Jane Dias says she is fortunate to have worked with director Abhinay Deo

She could well have been a part of Imran Khan's debut film that went on to become a success at the box office, but fate had other plans for Sarah Jane Dias.

The model-turned-actress, who turned down the film in order to meet some work commitment in China, finally debuted in Abhinay Deo's Game. The film however sunk at the box office without a trace.u00a0Regarding her dud debut, she says, "The film deserved much more appreciation. Whoever saw it loved my role," and adds, "However, I feel lucky to have got a chance to work with Abhinay."

Despite her debut debacle, Sarah is looking forward to her next film, an adult rom-com co-starring Anupam Kher. On her new role, she says, "Making everyone laugh is a tough job. Ever since the promos went on air, I am receiving a lot of film offers."

Does she ever regret letting go of Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na? Sarah says, "I was initially a part of the film. Later I won the Miss India title and went to China on work. The film's makers called me again but I could not do the film."u00a0
