Mr. Gaurav Goyal
Mr. Gaurav Goyal, Director of the Horizon Group and a trailblazer in the real estate sector, was recently recognized as Guest of Honor at Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh, where he also received the prestigious American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Excellence Award for his outstanding contributions to the real estate industry.
Mr. Goyal shared the stage with several distinguished guests, including Shri Rakesh Goyal, Chairman of RERA, and addressed a hall full of aspiring engineers. Drawing from his rich experience of 24 years as a first-generation entrepreneur, Mr. Goyal inspired the audience by reflecting on his journey-from a non-engineering background to becoming a renowned name in the real estate sector.

Despite coming from a family of chartered accountants and lacking formal education in engineering, Mr. Goyal stepped into the real estate world in 2001 with nothing but ambition and dedication. Under his leadership, Horizon Group has flourished, successfully executing eight large-scale projects under three firms in the past five years alone.
In his keynote, he emphasized the importance of discipline, persistence, and hard work, remarking that he hadn't taken a vacation in five years due to the demanding nature of the business.
This honor from PEC Chandigarh not only reflects Mr. Goyal's contributions to the field but also his role as a mentor and motivator to India's upcoming generation of professionals.
